Who are we?
Baseline Scouting Services is a next-generation sports scouting offering that is purpose-built for identifying all levels of prospective professional athletes. Our mission is to improve the likelihood of picking the right players via the draft and free agency to maximize investment and team performance. Scouting amateur athletes for professional competition has been too much of an inexact science for the amount of money professional teams invest in them. Resources are precious – we want to help ensure that time and finances spent are well worth it.
At Baseline, we leverage well-known athletic profiles, advanced statistics, film study, and sophisticated behavioral analysis to scout players in carefully selected games (must meet our criteria for “qualified”). Ultimately, this will give us a score per athlete and produces our version of a Big Board. This framework also allows for us to work with teams to incorporate their preferences and/or proprietary scouting data as they see fit!
